FEAR NOT

Updated: May 16, 2023

When anxiety was kicking in, creeps were crawling on my skin. The hairs on my body started to rise as if they were on guard. My heart beating was beyond normal, it's piercing my rib cage as blood rushed down unto my every vein. It was painful, my ear was hurting with the tinnitus that keeps on ringing. The butterflies on my stomach became dragons that keeps on scratching, twirling, and howling on my insides causing the pain to raise tenfold.

It was an experience, a bloody reality that even though you're alive you've been bruised inside. I know, yes, I know the feeling of being scared. I know the feeling of wanting to close your doors and shut the world. I know how the crowd caused your nerve-wracking, body trembling, suffocating.

But then, let me introduce to you the feeling of flying. It was impossible for someone that has been dragged down to a hole, but try climbing. Try reaching for the light, for the hand that's been waiting for you to reach out. Try taking a step, one at a time until your anxiety's gone. just try, try, and try.
